Reclaiming storytelling as a path to mental health and shared humanity.

With a passion for cultural anthropology, human identity, and mental health as a quality of life issue, Raul's drive is to bring it all together in his writings, along with using the writings themselves as examples of the power of storytelling in humanity, as a key element of humanity, in hopes of inspiring people to keep storytelling alive and participate in our shared human experience through the arts, whether as a creator, performer, listener, critic, etc.
He has also released an album of original rock music under the title The Lito James Project. Raul holds a Master of Arts in Applied Philosophy and Ethics and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. He lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Nicole, and their dog, Luna.
Always pursuing the next project, Raul has already begun work on the next two literary projects: the first, a polemic on the Nietzschean point of view and the tragic impact it has on society to this day, and the second, a challenge to the American cultural status quo.
